About My Clients

You're ready to quit faking it and live as the authentic you. The changes in your life threaten to overwhelm you, and you know you don't want to go on living this way. You feel suffocated, lost, or ashamed that you're not able to live as you used to or how you want to. Whether you're sick of your dead-end job, struggling with figuring out this whole adulting thing, or feeling weirdly disconnected from your partner, I can help you with your transition to who and where you want to be in life.

My Background and Approach

Most of my clients are Millennials (like myself) who are working hard to pursue their passions while trying to make a living and manage expectations of where they're "supposed" to be at this point in life. When facing daily upheavals in the world around us and within your own life, you likely just want someone to help you come out on the other side a bit better than you were before. With my extensive experience guiding individuals and couples like you through such transitions, I ask that you trust me to work with you to reach the goals we set. So I'm real, right? I have a real degree (MS in Marriage and Family Therapy) from a real school (Auburn University), plus real life experience working with just about every type of person out there. My experience includes years of child/teen therapy, family therapy, and couple therapy. Seriously, no problem is too big or too small to bring up in my office.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I know it feels scary and awkward to reach out to a complete stranger to talk about your struggles, but I'm actually a real person too. I offer reasonable rates and a sliding scale to accommodate you because therapy should be available to EVERYONE; you are never "just a paycheck" to me. My clients often tell me that my "no bullshit," honest approach helps them to reach their goals and hold themselves accountable. I embrace my realness by enjoying a cup of coffee every morning after I walk my pup, Monty, (AKA- Stinky Dog) and pick up his poop. I enjoy exploring Atlanta on foot just as much as I love binge-watching Netflix and gardening in my yard. In between trying new recipes and poring over various sports (Auburn football, F1 Racing, Atlanta United), I somehow find time to procrastinate. Quality time with my husband is a priority, even if that's just a round of video games or a smoothie out on the patio, Atlanta weather-permitting.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
