About My Clients
I have worked with a variety of individuals over the last 6+ years. I work well with anyone facing substance use issues, as well as those working through the issues that so often are created from substance use. I work with varying ages and backgrounds: people with criminal justice involvement, adolescents and also clients new to therapy. My focus is to plant a seed of hope and possibility; my desire is to help nurture new growth in all my clients!
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed substance abuse counselor and certified individual trauma specialist. My counseling style is client centered and solution focused. I work with clients at all levels of the stages of change. I believe in meeting client where they are and together reaching the desired destination.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all clients have the potential to “bloom” from their current situation. I believe in helping those that seek assistance. I believe that having a safe and supportive space can be the element of change in others. I believe that my role in the process is to nurture new growth, however big or small!
