About My Clients
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationships, and traumatic brain injuries.
My Background and Approach
My practice is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed and client-centered approach. I recognize that our thoughts, feelings, and relationships are shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by the systems and environments around us. Together, we'll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. One way I bring this approach into our work is through art therapy, which I offer alongside talk therapy. Art can provide another way to connect with and express experiences and emotions that may be difficult to put into words. Whether through conversation, creative expression, or a combination of both, therapy is tailored to your goals, needs, and comfort level.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, regulate, get curious, and explore what's underneath. My role is not to fix, but to create a collaborative space where you can uncover what's already within you, recognize your resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding. This approach has been shaped by years of clinical experience in nonprofit domestic violence services, inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, and group practice. My work is also informed by a social justice perspective, recognizing the impact of systemic influences on our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and lived experiences. Together, we'll build on your strengths while exploring the experiences that have shaped you, creating space for healing, resilience, and growth through authentic communication and genuine connection.
