About My Clients
I work best with clients who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected—often outwardly functioning well, yet sensing something deeper is unresolved. Many struggle with perfectionism, overthinking, identity questions, trauma, or feeling “stuck” in repeating patterns. . My clients are often reflective, curious, and open to creative or holistic approaches, and they’re seeking therapy that goes beyond symptom management toward deeper understanding and lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Resident in Counseling with a background in school counseling and community mental health. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and depth-oriented, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Jungian psychology, mindfulness, somatic tools, and expressive arts. With adults, I support exploration of patterns, inner parts, dreams, and values to foster self-trust, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. With children and teens, I use child-centered play therapy, sandtray, and creative expression to support confidence, communication, and growth. I believe therapy works best when it honors the whole person, mind, body, and inner world, while moving at a pace that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when we are met with compassion, curiosity, and respect for our full humanity, including the parts we may have learned to hide. I value creativity, authenticity, and the integration of evidence-based psychology with depth, meaning, and self-reflection. I’m passionate about supporting nervous-system regulation, emotional literacy, and self-trust across the lifespan. I’m also deeply interested in dream work, symbolism, expressive arts, and helping clients reconnect with their innate wisdom. I strive to offer an inclusive, affirming space that honors diversity, individuality, and the courage it takes to begin therapy.
