Do you ever feel like you’re walking a tightrope? From navigating anxieties to avoiding burnout, from managing relationships to healing after trauma – all while aspiring to maintain a fulfilling career, good health, and social connections – wellness is an intricate balancing act. My goal in therapy is to create a nurturing, secure environment where you can work through the myriad stressors of daily life and tap into your inner resources so you can feel present, resilient, and joyful.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. My experience working in community mental health and dual diagnosis treatment allowed me to cultivate a passion for trauma-informed care. I understand that wellness is an intricate balancing act and use an integrative approach to help my clients navigate anxieties, avoid burnout, manage relationships, and heal after trauma. My goal in therapy is to create a nurturing, secure environment where the client can work through the various stressors of daily life and tap into inner resources for presence, resilience, and happiness. My approach to treatment is client-centered and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. This approach ensures that concerns are addressed holistically and goals are worked towards in a balanced and supportive manner. I work together with my clients to rewrite a more authentic story.
