About My Clients
Allison enjoys working with adults and young adults and also has experience working with children and adolescents. Allison has experience working with a variety of concerns ranging from general stress and life changes to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and more. Allison works from a client centered approach and strongly believes that clients are the experts of their own life and goals and that her role is to offer support in achieving those goals.
My Background and Approach
Allison draws from a variety of techniques but does not believe that one technique fits everyone. Instead, she has conversations with clients that allow them to direct what they want to focus on. That being said, Allison is very upfront and honest and will be open and honest about concerns she sees as a therapist. Allison owns a small group practice and has therapists with a variety of experiences and expertise, including those that focus on more structured approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and IFS.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Allison believes that every person has a right to self determination and living their lives in a way that works for them. She has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, including non-binary, poly, and trans folks. Allison offers a judgement free space for any and all persons.
