About My Clients
My clients are those who are navigating the profoundly nuanced and dynamic reproductive period of life. I support those experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy complications, birth trauma, NICU stays, and perinatal mental health challenges. The clients I work with find themselves having experiences they did not anticipate and are seeking support to develop understanding and healing as they move forward in their parenting journey.
My Background and Approach
I have 13+ years of specialized experience and training to better understand the specific needs of this population. Earlier in my career, I worked in various healthcare settings, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This experience started my journey supporting those navigating this immensely transformative, nuanced, and complex season of life. After transitioning to private practice, I noticed a specific need related to the often overlooked traumatic experiences that arise during the reproductive period. I am trained in evidence-based trauma modalities and tailoring them to clients who have experienced trauma during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood. I am certified in EMDR and Perinatal Mental Health. I am also Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I hold a certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies and am trained in EMDR for perinatal mental health, pregnancy and postpartum CBT, and Polyvagal Theory.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people have an incredible capacity to heal and grow, even after experiences that have left them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. It is a true privilege to walk alongside my clients during these seasons of life. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and never alone in what you’re carrying. Most importantly, I want to honor the uniqueness of your experience while helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way.
