About My Clients
I work with teens and young adults who may feel stuck in a changing world filled with change and help them find freedom. Additionally, I love working with families and to help them maintain healthy relationships. My calling to this career came from my own therapy journey as I struggled with anxiety and depression as a teenager. I am no stranger to the feeling of being on the other side of the couch and acknowledge the strength and vulnerability it takes for you to reach out.
My Background and Approach
I focus on an empathetic and collaborative approach in counseling. It is my hope that when working together, we can create a safe space for you to process your emotions while building on your strengths to help you reach your goals. I tend to work out of an evidence-based approach called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors all work together. By working collaboratively, I encourage you to be a part of your treatment plan and create objectives for what you want out of counseling. I want you to be able to have a voice because, ultimately, you are the expert on yourself and I am here to support your individual journey.. I hope to create a safe space for you to process the past, be able to live in the present and help instill hope for the future. I hope we can work together to create change for you that lasts a lifetime.
