About My Clients
The struggling caregiver. The depressed new mom. The overwhelmed therapist. The burned out physician. Helpers can give, give, give, but then realize that they need help too! I work from a mind-body-spirit perspective, highlighting the growth process and journeying with you in your own movement towards transformation. I work with clients in Pennsylvania and around the world who need to put themselves on their “to do” list.
My Background and Approach
I am certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, a Certified Group Psychotherapist, trauma therapist and spiritual director. I am also LGBTQIA-allied and offer a holistic view on mental wellness. Practicing in the State of PA, I have a passion for working with women who struggle with life transitions, stress, anxiety, and depression; perinatal mental health (postpartum depression and anxiety); grief and loss; relationship issues; and psycho-spiritual issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone has a story. Our stories frame the way we navigate life. And sometimes, our stories need a place to be told, to land, so that we can release the grips of them on our spirits. I know what it is to walk through traumatic grief, loss, and medical trauma. While I went into this field over twenty years ago, I have lived alongside my clients and have done my own work to know what it is so heal from the inside-out. I am a soul care provider. Inner work is what I do. In my sessions, we use somatic and body focused practices to reclaim safety and inner knowledge. We draw on dreams, astrology, Enneagram wisdom, imager, poetry—all the liminal spaces to lend a right-brained, creative perspective on our stories. I meet you where you are, and commit to trauma-consciousness in my practice from day one. I am a white-able-bodied cis-het woman and commit myself and my work to anti-rasict, pro-LGBTQIA, justice-focused policies and practices.
