About My Clients
Do you feel disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you are or where you belong? I work best with clients navigating trauma, identity exploration, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Many feel overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or impacted by past experiences or systemic stress. I especially support LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals seeking affirming, trauma-informed care focused on safety, self-trust, and belonging.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, gender-affirming care with a focus on the nervous system, safety, and identity. I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, relationship challenges, burnout, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults, particularly those who have felt misunderstood or unsafe in previous therapeutic spaces. I use trauma-informed and nervous-system-based approaches to help you understand how past experiences show up in your body, emotions, and relationships. Together, we build practical tools for grounding, emotional regulation, and self-trust that you can use both in and outside of sessions. Therapy with me is collaborative, structured, and paced intentionally, never rushed. As a trained music therapist, I also incorporate creative interventions when helpful. No musical background is required. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where your full self is respected and affirmed. My work is rooted in values of equity, anti-racism, curiosity, and compassion, with an awareness of how systems of oppression, trauma, and marginalization impact mental health. I am committed to providing LGBTQIA+-affirming care and supporting clients whose identities and lived experiences have often been misunderstood, minimized, or harmed by systemic inequities. I approach therapy from a relational, trauma-informed lens that honors autonomy, consent, and the wisdom of the nervous system. I value collaboration over hierarchy and believe healing happens best when clients feel safe, seen, and empowered. My goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels grounded, inclusive, and human, where you don’t have to edit yourself to belong.
