About My Clients
My clients are deep thinkers, big feelers, and curious minds who may find themselves caught in the “what ifs,” overwhelmed by emotions, or striving for perfection. Together, we create space to slow down, make sense of their experiences, and build confidence in who they are. In our work together, we’ll get curious about the stories your mind tells, practice turning down the volume on unhelpful thoughts, and build a toolbox of skills to help you feel more grounded, flexible, and connected.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy begins with connection. Before we work on changing anything, I want to understand your story. Your strengths, your challenges, your relationships, and the experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and the world. My background in social work allows me to look at the whole picture and consider the many layers that influence how we think, feel, and respond. Together, we’ll slow down, get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, and explore patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. Using a cognitive-behavioral approach, I help clients make sense of anxious thoughts and emotions while building practical skills to feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as your full self. The thoughtful parts, the messy parts, the overthinking parts, and even the parts that make you laugh. I strive to create a space that feels welcoming, genuine, and judgment-free, where clients feel safe being curious about their experiences and exploring what makes them who they are. I value empathy, connection, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel understood. I love helping clients notice their strengths, build self-compassion, and learn that having big feelings or a busy mind does not mean something is wrong. It means there is something important to understand. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, finding joy in the little moments, exploring new perspectives, and savoring a good cup of coffee. An essential part of my own self-care routine!
