About My Clients
I am particularly skilled at treating relational concerns, including couples/marital therapy, anxiety, depression, womxn's issues, vocational/work concerns (including impostor phenomenon), parenting concerns, stress, life transitions, and working with the LGBTQ+ and healthcare provider populations. I welcome those who are new to therapy and those who have been in therapy before.
My Background and Approach
I invest time getting to know my clients as holistic individuals and build strong working relationships where we can talk honestly and frankly about presenting concerns. I often infuse humor, where appropriate, into my work and aim to have a warm, approachable interpersonal style. I draw mostly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) approaches in my work and believe it is critical to discuss identity in therapy work. I have years of experience helping adults, older adults, and couples to reach their mental health goals and consider it a privilege to be able to do this job.
