About My Clients
I work with preteens, teens, and families navigating the complexities of growing up. I help families who feel like they’ve tried everything. I support families to repair trust, improve communication, and stabilize the home environment. My sessions are structured, honest, and focused on creating lasting change, not temporary fixes. I take time to build real trust and connection.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California specializing in complex teen and family work. I use CBT, ABFT, EMDR, and Animal Assisted Psychotherapy. My approach is direct, human, and focused on real change that actually lasts. help preteens, teens, and families work through anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, substance use, and the fallout that comes with it like risky behavior, lying, disconnection, and constant tension at home. I specialize in adolescent and family therapy focused on repairing trust, improving communication, and creating real safety and stability.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own struggles, traumas, and adversities have shaped who I am and fueled my deep passion for helping others on their healing journeys. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can be truly seen, heard, and supported, and I am committed to providing that for my clients. I’m not just a therapist; I’m also someone who has faced life’s challenges head-on, which allows me to approach therapy with empathy, understanding, and authenticity. I am a huge animal lover and believe deeply in the healing power of animals, which is why I integrate Animal Assisted Therapy into my practice. Animals have played a significant role in my own healing, and I’ve seen firsthand how they can bring comfort, joy, and a sense of calm to those who need it most. I am also passionate about rescuing animals and giving them a second chance at life, much like I aim to do with my clients in their therapeutic journeys.
