About My Clients
Alli Fisher feels passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults seeking a safe space for their therapeutic journey. She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, specifically sexual trauma and childhood abuse/assault. Alli has experience working with people in the LGBTQIAA+ community, BIPOC clients, depression, anxiety, and child and adolescent concerns. She welcomes individual and/or family sessions depending on what seems most helpful.
My Background and Approach
Alli uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, while tailoring the counseling experience to you and your needs. She is passionate about utilizing art therapy while integrating a person-centered approach, polyvagal theory, narrative therapy, attachment theory, and uses a trauma informed lens. She has experience working with ages 7-22 who have reported physical and sexual assault, and has led art therapy groups with children and adolescents with diverse backgrounds. Alli has also worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital with adolescents. She has additional training from Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs, from First Aid Arts, and further training in TF-CBT. Alli has developing interests in working with people in the kink and BDSM communities, as well as a developing interest in working with children and adolescents with parents in polyamorous and ethical non-monogamous relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone has a unique story to be told, and I feel such privilege in getting to hear and help people as they explore their own stories and experiences. I feel that through creativity, empathy, warmth, genuineness, and humor we can create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and healing through this work. I believe in being affirming of individual's unique stories, identities, and varied relationship styles. She’s committed to standing beside you on this journey.
