About My Clients
If you're navigating perfectionism or procrastination—especially when rooted in anxiety, relational wounds, or religious trauma—you don't have to figure it out by yourself. I also hold space for those processing grief in its many forms: the loss of a loved one, a shift in lifestyle, changes in relationships, or evolving identities. As a trauma-informed and strengths-based therapist, I prioritize collaboration, autonomy, and emotional regulation. Together, we'll create a space that supports you.
My Background and Approach
I'm trained in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy & am Internal Family Systems & Cognitive Processing Therapy informed. Regardless of the approach, I believe in creating a therapy space that you feel empowered in & can focus on what you want to focus on - whether that be ACT mindfulness skills or working through trauma & core beliefs. I have a background in teaching & provided crisis interventions throughout my social work career. I have worked with vulnerable populations & support programs (financial & psycho-educational) for the past 9 years.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As someone who used to have frequent panic attacks, I know how important it is to work with a therapist who cares about you & your well-being. Finding the right therapist, who took the time to listen without prescribing a modality or mindset for me, was key to my own growth. If you're in the religion deconstructing process, I've been there & know how complicated it can be to navigate family, friend relationships while questioning the beliefs you were raised in. I loudly & proudly support the LGBTQ community - y'all means ALL. I'm a member of a maternal rights advocacy group & believe in supporting caregivers through paid leave, maternal health support (including mental health), & affordable childcare.
