About My Clients
Many of the clients I work with are capable and successful in their daily lives yet are experiencing persistent anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or self-doubt beneath the surface. My approach specializes in applying CBT with an attachment-focused lens to better understand behavioral and relational patterns that may be keeping us stuck in these cycles.
My Background and Approach
I received my master's degree from Columbia University and have past experience working at an NYC-based group psychotherapy practice, a mental health and substance use clinic, and a crisis intervention center. I have particular experience supporting working professionals, young adults navigating life transitions, new mothers experiencing peripartum and postpartum anxiety or depression, and couples. One of my goals is to help you build a tangible toolbox of skills that can be of use far beyond the therapy room. To build this toolbox we will draw on the emotional regulation and interpersonal skills of DBT, reconstruct challenging and disruptive thought patterns with CBT, and incorporate mindfulness through somatic-based practices.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With warmth, humor, and reflection we will work together to set meaningful and achievable goals, better understand your patterns, and learn practical tools to make lasting change.
