About My Clients

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are seeking space to unpack the pressures, expectations, and experiences that have shaped them. Together we explore new ways of understanding their story while building tools for emotional regulation, healing, and growth.

My Background and Approach

I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in Florida with a Master of Social Work (MSW). My background includes working with adolescents and adults across community, school, and therapeutic settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and life transitions. I am also trained as a death doula and currently pursuing further education in thanatology, which informs my compassionate approach to grief, loss, and life’s major transitions. My work integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic awareness, and breathwork. These approaches help clients build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop greater insight into their experiences. My goal is to provide a supportive, culturally responsive space where clients can process challenges, reframe unhelpful narratives, and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and well

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I approach therapy through a lens of liberation, accountability, and decolonizing how we understand mental health. I believe many of the struggles people experience are shaped by systems, expectations, and environments that were never designed for everyone to thrive. My work creates space to unpack those realities while reconnecting with personal agency, healing, and self-understanding. I value community care, accountability within our communities, and movements that advocate for justice and dignity, including Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+ liberation. I am passionate about affirming neurodivergent individuals and supporting people navigating identities, grief, and life experiences that may not always be centered in traditional mental health spaces. Alongside my work as a therapist, I am also a trained death doula and currently studying thanatology. I believe death, grief, and mortality are important parts of the human experience and deserve compassionate, honest conversation.
