About My Clients

My clients are thoughtful, resilient and often creative individuals navigating the challenges of substance use, grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Many come feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, yet carry a deep desire for healing and change. Together, we create a space of safety, curiosity, and compassion—where emotions can be understood, patterns can shift, and new possibilities for peace, self-trust, and meaning can begin to emerge.

My Background and Approach

I’m trained to help people move through trauma and challenging life experiences —whether it’s something recent, ongoing, or long past—and the beliefs about yourself that may have grown from those experiences. My work is grounded in a person-centered approach, where I aim to truly understand your story from your perspective. I also bring a broader lens, recognizing how the larger systems and environments you live in shape your experiences. My style is somatic and attachment-focused, meaning we’ll pay attention to what your body might be communicating and how early relationships influence the ways you connect with others today. When helpful, I may weave in parts work, mindfulness, or other modalities that support your healing. Everything begins with connection. Together, we’ll explore your world and discover what feels most supportive to you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Life has a way of shaping us, and many of our past experiences—both joyful and painful—leave imprints that deserve care and understanding. I became a counselor because I believe we all deserve a safe space to be held in our big emotions, to process life’s changes, and to make sense of our experiences. The world can feel intense and overwhelming at times—I know that feeling too—and it’s part of why I hope to offer that steady presence for others. I also believe in the incredible resilience and adaptability within each person. When we allow ourselves to move through our emotions and tend to our wounds, we often uncover a deeper strength and vitality that’s been waiting to emerge. My hope is to walk beside my clients through the intensity of their present, helping them see the possibility and expansion of what lies ahead. ~ A bit about me outside of counseling: I find peace in nature, love photography, and connecting with loved ones near and far.
