About My Clients
I work with adolescents, young adults and adults who are experiencing anxiety, past trauma, grief or major life changes. My approach is warm, collaborative and client-centered. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences - including trauma, family dynamics, or difficult life events - shape the way you view yourself and the world.
My Background and Approach
I often combine different therapeutic approaches in my practice, including mindfulness, humanism, narrative, existentialism, and cognitive-behavioral modalities. In therapy, I value acknowledging different identities, cultures and backgrounds, building a relationship and pursuing the journey of therapy together. I believe that people are not defined by the problems they struggle with. I’m passionate about working with adolescents, young adults and adults through this belief - you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. Through different therapeutic approaches, together we can explore how the problem has manifested itself in your life. Everyone seeks therapy for a different reason, but for whatever reason brought you here, I’m proud of you and am appreciative to be a part of your journey!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Your past may shape you, but it doesn’t have to define your future. Healing doesn’t mean erasing the past - it means learning to live fully with it. Together, we can make sense of what has happened in and around your life, so you can create space for change. I welcome you to reach out today for a free consultation to see if this feels like the right fit.
