About My Clients
I work with women on a spiritual path who are making a difference in the world but stress, anxiety or self-doubt are getting in the way. I help clients manage emotions, speak their truth, set empowered boundaries, practice self-compassion, and untwist anxious, self-critical thinking patterns.
My Background and Approach
I’ve been a therapist for 20 years, and my work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, somatic therapy, and creativity to support deep, lasting change. My approach is grounded in the belief that insight alone is not enough. Transformation happens when the nervous system feels safe, inner parts feel understood, and new experiences are practiced in the body, not just the mind. I specialize in working with patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, people-pleasing, and self-abandonment through a compassionate lens. Mindfulness builds awareness and self-trust, somatic therapy supports regulation and embodied safety, and creativity offers a powerful pathway for expression, integration, and new ways of being. I’m the author of Essential Strategies for Social Anxiety and The Self-Compassion Journal, and I’m featured regularly as a mental health expert in TIME, The Guardian, Forbes, Verywell Mind, DailyOM, Vogue, Parents, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work with women on a spiritual path who are thoughtful, capable, and highly self-aware. They often feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or self-abandonment. Many are high-achieving and deeply caring, yet struggle to speak up, trust themselves, or stay connected to their own needs. They are seeking deeper alignment, stronger boundaries, and a more grounded, embodied sense of self.
