About My Clients

I have had the pleasure of working with diverse clients who come in for issues ranging from anxiety and depression, to those seeking to navigate intimate relationships. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ and gender diverse individuals. While I enjoy working with individuals from across the lifespan, I have particular specialization in working with young adults, ages 17 to 35 years old.

My Background and Approach

Practicing from a multicultural lens, I integrate evidence-based treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindful Self-Compassion to tailor plans for each client. I work collaboratively with individuals to help align their lives with their values, and to not get consumed by thoughts and behaviors that are not working for them.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I know that for many people, the symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress can keep them from connecting with the people and life goals that matter most to them. Therapy can be a wonderful venue to cultivate compassion for how we end up where we are, and hold ourselves accountable for moving towards where we want to be. I believe the principals of liberation health, racial justice, queer liberation, and feminist therapies. Therapy is something that everyone can benefit from, even therapists!

I offer online counseling in the following states:
