About My Clients

We can be incredibly hard on ourselves as humans. Although being self-critical may have benefited us throughout our lives, it may also lead to emotional distress. Research on self-compassion has found it can significantly decrease anxiety, depression, and stress while increasing motivation, confidence, and performance. Putting self-compassion into action is a lot easier said than done. Through my extensive training in evidenced-based therapy, I am here to help guide you through that process.

My Background and Approach

As a highly skilled and experienced clinical psychologist in Seattle, WA, I specialize in helping individuals improve their mental well-being. I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and received additional training from institutions such as Stanford University. I completed advanced Perinatal Mental Health training (PMH-C), further demonstrating my expertise and commitment to supporting individuals during pregnancy and postpartum. I also hold a certification in Self-Compassion in Psychotherapy (SCIP) which has deepened my understanding of self-compassion and its impact on mental health. I offer individual virtual therapy in 38 states as part of PSYPACT.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and I specialize in helping my clients develop a more positive and compassionate relationship with themselves. My approach is tailored to the unique needs of each individual, and combines evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with mindfulness and self-compassion practices. My therapy sessions are designed to be both informative and empowering, helping clients to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and to develop the tools they need to make positive changes in their lives.
