I specialize in treating anxiety in teens and adults but utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My focus is to help you regain control over your ability to function without anxiety taking over your life. We will develop a plan based on your needs and strengths and start you on your journey to feeling better.

I work with adolescents ages 13+ to address anxiety, depression, social/friendship issues, school issues, family issues, and much more. I have a natural connection with teenagers and have had much success breaking through the barriers that hey put up to those around them. I make them feel comfortable and provide them with a safe space to discuss whatever challenges they are facing. The therapeutic alliance is vital when working with teens and I excel at fostering that relationship.

CBT is used to treat a wide range of issues. It is a treatment approach that helps you recognize negative or unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. Many experts consider it to be the "gold standard" of therapy approaches. I will help you identify and explore the ways your emotions and thoughts can affect your life. Once you notice these patterns, you can begin learning to reframe your thoughts in a more positive helpful way.

Life Coaching is helpful for those who do not need therapeutic services, but need help making progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. I aid clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. I do this by helping you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle.

I offer Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT also known as short-term therapy) for those who are looking for assistance or guidance pertaining to a specific issue. Short-term therapy is defined as 12 sessions or less and is goal specific. Often, short-term therapy is appropriate for situational problems such as stress management, anger management, conflicts at work or school, communication improvement, relationship issues, parenting, or other person specific issues.
