About My Clients

I work best with athletes, veterans, and adults facing addiction, trauma, or performance challenges. I help clients build resilience, manage stress, and develop practical strategies to regain focus, stability, and purpose in their lives. My approach is supportive, personalized, and grounded in both professional experience and personal insight into recovery and growth.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed professional counselor with years of experience supporting individuals living with addiction, trauma, and performance challenges. I’ve worked in residential and outpatient settings, leading therapeutic programs, providing individual and group counseling, and developing treatment curricula. My background includes helping clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and I draw on evidence-based approaches like CBT, Mindfulness-Based CBT, and DBT. Having navigated my own recovery and witnessed loved ones manage serious mental health challenges, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight. Clients benefit from my practical, compassionate approach, gaining tools to manage stress, build resilience, and regain focus, stability, and purpose in their lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and rebuild their life, no matter the challenges they’ve faced. I value compassion, resilience, and honesty, and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward change. I’m particularly passionate about supporting veterans, athletes, and individuals in recovery, helping them navigate stress, performance pressure, and trauma. I also advocate for mental health awareness and reducing stigma around addiction and psychiatric conditions. My approach is grounded in respect for each person’s unique story, and I aim to help clients reconnect with purpose, stability, and a sense of control over their lives.
