About My Clients
I work best with individuals and couples who feel emotionally stuck—whether in anxiety, past hurt, or repeated conflict in relationships. My ideal clients are ready to take an active role in their growth, explore patterns with openness, and commit to meaningful change. If you're seeking clarity, connection, and a deeper understanding of yourself, I offer a space to do the work, with honesty, care, and intention.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and the founder of Innerwork Counseling and Consulting. I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, emotional reactivity, and relationship challenges often rooted in attachment and developmental trauma. I’m certified in Imago Relationship Therapy and trained in Brainspotting, which allows me to support clients in healing from the inside out—beyond just symptom relief. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and grounded in personal responsibility. Clients who work with me can expect a balance of compassion and clarity, with practical tools like CBT, breathwork, and nervous system education integrated into each session. I help clients build deeper self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and create more aligned relationships—with themselves and others. Therapy with me is a space for honest reflection, intentional growth, & meaningful change. If you're ready to do the inner work, I’m here to support.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I believe healing is a personal, relational, and systemic journey. I value integrity, compassion, personal responsibility, and cultural humility—and I strive to bring those values into every client relationship. I support creating safe spaces for people of all backgrounds, particularly those who’ve felt unseen, unheard, or misunderstood. I believe in the power of nervous system regulation, relational repair, and the right to heal at your own pace. I’m especially passionate about empowering Black women, breaking the stigma around mental health in marginalized communities, and advocating for trauma-informed care that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I value faith, family, rest, and growth, and I bring these beliefs into the way I show up as a therapist. Whether you’re navigating emotional pain, spiritual disconnection, or just seeking clarity, I want you to know you’re not alone—and your story matters.
