As a professional who has personally experienced the hardships of this process, I can understand and empathize with the emotional, physical and psychological toll this process can have on the individual going through fertility treatment. I also understand how this process can significantly impact a partnership or marriage (in both positive and negative ways). Learning effective ways to cope can make this process a lot easier.

I help individuals facing many challenges build skills and learn tools to cope effectively through four modules: distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness and emotional regulation. For those individuals who have difficulty with stress management and overwhelming emotions, I teach mindfulness and evidence-based skills to cope them more effectively. For those who are experiencing difficulties in relationships: I teach interpersonal effectiveness skills.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you see and better understand your whole self. CBT is a strategy that can help you find connections between your beliefs, thoughts, behaviors and emotions. It’s based partly on the idea that the way you think may cause your emotional distress. Together, we can explore disruptive thoughts and emotions to help you better understand yourself and obtain greater life fulfillment.
