About My Clients

I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are motivated for change. Depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual dysfunctions/concerns, relationship issues/concerns and self-esteem are the areas where I have the most experience and most success with progress.

My Background and Approach

I have spent 10 years assisting survivors of various traumas, with a focus on domestic violence and sexual assault. I am a certified clinical trauma professional and I am pursuing additional education in sex therapy. This advance training allows me to aid adults (individuals and couples) in dealing with unresolved trauma and other issues that can be difficult to communicate around. I am rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy however I am eclectic in my approach, in order to provide individualized treatment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Social learning is a major part of how we develop. Social learning can also hinder our willingness to think critically and challenge long standing beliefs, particularly those that are familial and cultural. It is important to me that my clients define their own happiness without shame.
