About My Clients
With experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, I have supported children with autism and their families — an experience that has shaped my clinical interest in the emotional toll of caregiving. I understand how easy it is for caregivers to feel overwhelmed, unseen, or emotionally depleted, and I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel heard and supported.
My Background and Approach
Joy also brings compassion and steadiness to those navigating grief, chronic illness, or end-of-life transitions. Whether sitting with someone in loss or helping them prepare for what’s next, she offers a calming, respectful presence during life’s most vulnerable moments. I strive to have a warm, collaborative style, and I see therapy as a partnership. I work with clients to explore what’s beneath the surface — not to “fix,” but to understand, heal, and move forward together. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for anyone ready to take that first step, no matter where they are in their journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing begins with being seen. That every person deserves a space where they can speak freely, feel deeply, and be met with compassion—not judgment. I also believe in honoring life’s transitions, whether joyful or painful. Grief, chronic illness, and end-of-life experiences call for presence, steadiness, and reverence. I strive to offer that kind of grounded support.
