About My Clients
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who understand a lot intellectually but still find themselves stuck in anxiety, painful relationship patterns, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or the effects of trauma. I work with adults navigating anxiety, attachment and relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, dissociation, and FND/PNES. You may be looking not only for ways to feel better, but to understand why certain patterns keep repeating and how to change them.
My Background and Approach
My approach is relational, attachment-based, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed. I believe meaningful therapy involves more than managing symptoms—it also means understanding the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped how you relate to yourself and others. I integrate EMDR, IFS-informed work, CBT, DBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches depending on your needs. My clinical interests include trauma and developmental trauma, anxiety, attachment and relationship patterns, dissociation, and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND/PNES). I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional. I have completed EMDR training and am currently an ICP+P Fellow in Self Psychology and Relational Psychoanalysis. My style is warm, engaged, curious, and collaborative. I’ll help you look beneath the surface while also giving you practical tools when they’re useful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make the most meaningful changes when they feel genuinely understood rather than judged or reduced to a diagnosis. Therapy should be a place where you can be honest, curious, imperfect, and fully yourself. I value authenticity, compassion, humor, and directness, and I believe our relationships—past and present—often hold important clues to understanding ourselves. I also believe insight matters most when it helps us live differently outside the therapy room. My goal is to create a space where we can understand what has shaped you while also helping you develop greater freedom in how you move forward.
