About My Clients
You’re insightful, determined, and often the one others lean on—but inside, you feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected from your true self. I work best with clients who are ready to dive deeper—those curious about why they repeat the same relational patterns, carry invisible emotional burdens, or feel like they’re “too much” and “not enough” at the same time. I specialize in helping adults navigate attachment wounds, trauma, family dysfunction, and identity exploration.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with training in trauma healing and a deep understanding of attachment theory. My work is integrative and active—I don’t just nod and ask, “How does that make you feel?” I collaborate with you, challenge old narratives, and teach tools for nervous system regulation, boundary setting, and emotional clarity. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive. Whether we’re healing the roots of insecure attachment, a chaotic childhood, or learning how to feel safe in your body again, I help you build a foundation where inner peace doesn’t depend on perfection, productivity, or people-pleasing. In our work together, we will: Deepen your self-awareness and self-reflection; develop healthy communication and coping skills; help you become more integrated, peaceful, and confident; and empower you to move through healing with safety and security.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is political. I believe mental health can’t be separated from the systems we live in—patriarchy, white supremacy, capitalism, ableism, religious trauma. I’m committed to decolonizing mental health and supporting clients whose pain is both personal and systemic. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, and deeply invested in dismantling generational harm. I also believe humor has a place in healing, that softness is strength, and that we all deserve to feel safe enough to take up space without apology. I utilize my own experiences to relate to and empathize with the people I work with. So, if you’re searching for a therapist who asks insightful, reflective questions or a space to safely process your thoughts and feelings or simply looking to sort through some baggage you’ve accumulated through life, I am here to help you make sense of your experiences.
