About My Clients
I specialize in helping people with overcoming dating challenges, forming healthy, lasting relationships, overcoming self-doubt and anxiety, co-dependence, ocd, and overcoming the emotional effects of illness and health issues, including relieving the stress of fertility issues. I also specialize in helping my clients make behavior changes for weight loss. I have immediate In-Network availability. I work with teens, tweens and adults and children (in person).
My Background and Approach
During the last 25 years of training and experience, I have built up an incredible array of techniques ranging from Hypnotherapy / NLP to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to empower people to take the reigns of their own conscious and unconscious minds so that they can become the person they want to be. My clients can expect to engage in a mutually respectful, judgment free, clinical relationship where they feel free to be themselves, to laugh, cry, question and experiment with who they really are, who they want to be and what really works best for them in their life. Therapy does not need to take a long time to produce the client's desired changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an immigrant to the United States from Russia (during childhood), I grew up in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual nuclear and extended family. I have travelled and lived both in the USA and abroad throughout my life and am very familiar with cross-cultural issues and the inner conflict that is created when one's family of origin values/traditions conflict with the values of the dominant culture in which they grew up.
