Quietly exhausted from holding it together? I help your nervous system settle so "fine" stops being a performance.

About My Clients

You function. You show up, you deliver, people rely on you. From the outside, it looks like you handled it. Underneath, you're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. And you probably minimize what you came from — other people had it worse. But your body kept its own record, even after your mind moved on. I work with adults and couples carrying complex trauma they've learned not to name, including people stepping down from higher levels of care.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Florida Qualified Supervisor. I began my career in treatment centers, working with people at their most acute, and it taught me something that still shapes how I practice: insight alone doesn't settle a nervous system. So I work with the body as well as the story. The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) uses listening to help move your system out of survival mode. I describe it as anesthesia during surgery — it doesn't do the therapeutic work, but it settles things enough that the work can land. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) changes how a memory is held, so relief doesn't depend on retelling it in detail. I also draw on somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Relational Life Therapy with couples. None of this asks you to relive anything to get better. We start where your body is, and let understanding catch up.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every single person has the capacity to heal. What most people need isn't fixing — it's a safe place and a safe person to brave the darkness with. That's what I try to provide. I'm also in my own therapy. I don't think it's fair to ask someone to do work I'm not doing myself. When I'm not seeing clients, I'm reading, getting more training and sharpening my therapist tools, trying to get some exercise, and mostly the never-ending to-do list and pile of laundry. I say that because a lot of my clients feel like they should have it more together than they do. I don't have it all together either. That isn't the requirement for starting.
