About My Clients
Need a soft therapeutic landing space to explore and process trauma (both "big T" and "little t" trauma) and understand how it continues to affect you? I'm ready to help you "do the work." But, with the understanding that "the work" may be messy, exhausting, rewarding, fulfilling, and/or anywhere in between. Fellow nerds, geeks, queers, awkward kings, queens, and enby friends are especially welcome and supported!
My Background and Approach
I work from a warm, relational, humanistic approach and believe that therapy should be shaped to each unique individual. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify therapeutic goals. This leaves room for flexibility and creativity as we work together to build skills, understanding, and resiliency. My priority is to create a supportive, affirming environment for all clients while acknowledging the inherent difficulties of moving through the world with intersectional identities. I have 5+ years of experience in working with survivors of developmental and family trauma, domestic/intimate partner violence, systemic trauma, and human trafficking. This has given me a greater understanding of how trauma affects individuals, families, and communities.
