About My Clients
Are you ready to tap into the transformative power of eco-therapy and art therapy? Through the use of mindful and creative practices, I can help you shift perspectives and work through trauma in a safe and supportive environment.
My Background and Approach
Experience in providing grief counseling to both adults and children at a grief clinic. Taught dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and art therapy to community groups. Our work together will increase resilience, self-confidence, and change habitual behaviors that interfere with your goals and desires. My style is curious, active and compassionate and client's have described me as patient, kind and insightful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don't believe anyone is broken. Everyone who is wounded can heal and not every journey is a straight line. We should be treating ourselves less like machines that need to be fixed and more like plants that need sun, clean water, rich soil and a safe environment to grow. In addition to my professional work I have a close family member with a lifelong mental illness. I understand the cycle of crises and recovery. I'm passionate about working to address environmental destruction and social inequality/injustice.
