About My Clients
Is your teen feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, overthinking, or stress around school or friendships? Do social situations feel draining or hard to navigate? You might notice them worrying a lot, shutting down, or struggling to feel confident. Anxiety can make everyday life feel harder than it should. I help teens and young adults better understand what they’re feeling and build practical tools to feel calmer and confident.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing virtual therapy in Florida and California. My background includes working in school-based settings and community mental health, where I supported children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, stress, and emotional challenges in real-world environments. These experiences allow me to understand the pressures teens face both in and outside of school—academics, social dynamics, family expectations, and feeling overwhelmed. I bring that perspective into my work, helping clients feel understood while also building practical skills they can use in daily life. My approach is warm, supportive, and structured. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with mindfulness-based strategies to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we focus on managing anxiety, reducing overthinking, improving emotional regulation, and building confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and approachable—not intimidating. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without judgment. I value helping teens and young adults build real-life coping skills they can actually use outside of session, not just talk about. I also believe growth happens at a pace that feels safe and manageable, and that small, consistent changes can lead to meaningful progress over time.
