About My Clients
If you feel stuck in relationship conflict, overwhelmed by anxiety or stress, discouraged by depression, or unsure how to move forward, therapy can help. I work with adults, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, communication difficulties, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and pregnancy or adjustment to parenthood. While individual therapy focuses on personal challenges, relationship counseling helps improve communication, resolve conflict, and strengthen trust.
My Background and Approach
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S). My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in research-based therapeutic strategies. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, mindfulness-based approaches, and other integrative techniques based on your unique needs and goals. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard without judgement while also gaining practical tools you can use in everyday life. Together, we'll work to understand patterns, strengthen communication, develop effective coping skills, and create positive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are capable of meaningful change, even when they feel stuck or unsure of where to begin. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and work toward real solutions without judgment. I value connection, healthy relationships, and finding practical ways to create more balance and fulfillment in everyday life. I believe life can always get better, even when things feel difficult or overwhelming. Sometimes taking the first step is the hardest part. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. Therapy can give you space to slow down, gain perspective, reconnect with what matters to you, and take your next true step forward.
