About My Clients
I work with folks who feel overwhelmed by people-pleasing, anxiety, difficult relationships, or the pressure to meet everyone else's expectations. Many are struggling with self-worth, boundaries, past experiences, or feeling disconnected from who they truly are. I also work with individuals and couples who want to improve communication, navigate relationship challenges, rebuild trust, and create deeper connection.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges, heal from past experiences, and create healthier relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, holistic, and trauma-informed. I believe our past experiences and relationships can shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world. In therapy, I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches to help clients better understand their patterns, build self-awareness, and reconnect with themselves. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. Rather than believing there is a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client to honor their unique experiences, identify what matters most to them, and support meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel seen, valued, respected, and accepted for who they are. I recognize that our identities, relationships, lived experiences, and the systems we navigate all shape our mental health and sense of belonging. I value social justice, equity, inclusion, and the importance of acknowledging how discrimination, oppression, and marginalization can impact emotional well-being. I strive to create an affirming, culturally responsive space for people of diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, gender-diverse clients, and those in consensually nonmonogamous relationships. I believe healing is not about fitting into someone else's expectations, but about having the freedom to define what authenticity, connection, and fulfillment mean to you. Outside of therapy, I enjoy mindfulness, spirituality, personal growth, and connecting with nature.
