About My Clients
I work best with people who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief, or the lasting effects of trauma. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are seeking personal growth, healthier communication, stronger boundaries, and greater emotional resilience.
My Background and Approach
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings, helping navigate emotional, relational, and life challenges with empathy and respect. In addition to treating individuals with specific disorders, I have experience supporting individuals as they develop healthier coping skills, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and work towards lasting emotional wellness. My therapeutic approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe there is no one-size fits all approach to therapy, and I tailor treatment to each client's unique goals, strengths, values, and circumstances. In addition, I work with couples and families to improve communication, resolve conflict, rebuild trust, and foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal and professional values are rooted in compassion, authenticity, respect, and a deep belief in the dignity and worth of every person. I believe that healing happens best in an environment where people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. These values guide the way I show up for others in and outside of the counseling room. I am passionate about mental health awareness and reducing the stigma that often prevents people from seeking support. I believe that emotional wellness is an essential part of overall health, and I value helping individuals and families access the tools, support, and encouragement they need to thrive. I also care deeply about creating space for honest conversations around anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationships and life transitions. In addition, I value inclusivity, cultural humility, and advocacy for underserved and marginalized communities. I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate care.
