I believe that seeking therapy should NEVER be seen as a weakness, and I strive to develop each individuals personal strength(s). I have experience facilitating: individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions. I work with individuals of all ages, and from very diverse backgrounds.
My Background and Approach
As your therapist, it is my goal is to assist you in becoming the best version of yourself. I utilize many therapeutic modalities, such as: CBT, DBT, Mindfulness/Meditation, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy with my little ones, (just to name a few) as I understand that there is no "one size fits all," when it comes to therapeutic intervention.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the therapeutic experience should be authentic, warm, and supportive. I believe in meeting my clients exactly where they are, and working our way up from there. One of my favorite quotes to live by, is "we should try to leave the world a better place than when we entered it." and I truly believe that one person, each one of us can make a difference.
