About My Clients
I help professional women focus on improving life balance through improved self confidence, assertiveness and feeling empowered enough to set healthy boundaries. Relationships are hard. Asking for and accepting help is hard. Creating a work/life balance is hard. In general, life is hard and sometimes the "hard" can be too overwhelming.
My Background and Approach
It is important for me to be able to guide client's to find their strengths and resiliency in a meaningful and productive way. Utilization of evidence-based practices including CBT, TF – CBT, Motivational Interviewing and DBT combined with holistic modalities that integrate the mind, body, and soul are sure to be included in session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I find importance with developing a strong therapeutic relationship and pulling out other’s strengths and resources to be able to reach identified goals and overcome some the most difficult challenges. I am passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health, improving self – care, and establishing healthy boundaries to promote healthy work/life balances. Family systems and connections are important to me. Growing up in a very small, yet dysfunctional family, taught me everything I did not want to be as a life partner, mother, sister and friend. Through my own trials and tribulations I have learned how to mange my anxiety, set health boundaries both professionally and personally even though it hurt or felt yucky and prioritize my quality of life.
