About My Clients
Are you looking to reconnect deeply in your relationships? Improve communication, manage conflict, and navigate the landscape of intimacy? Welcome! You are the expert of your life, story, and experiences always. I bring to the therapy room my knowledge and experience of working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, relational issues (helping with communication challenges, conflict, divorce, infidelity, sexuality, desire discrepancy), relational trauma, parenting and more.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, I believe in fostering a trusting relationship with each client to empower them to reach their goals. I create a safe, brave, and nonjudgmental space for discussing self, sex, relationships, and mental health. I use a variety of approaches with training in the Gottman Method, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and others. I’m a learner at heart, I often listen to podcasts, read books and research, and attend different training, expanding my knowledge on evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches to enhance my therapy skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personally, I am a very optimistic person, I aim to offer hope during what often is a challenging time in and outside of the therapy space. In my personal life self-care is fundamental, as it allows me to show up for myself, my family/pets, and my clients. For that reason, when I am not working, I am often engaged in things I enjoy, such as traveling the world, taking in nature, reading avidly, scrapbooking, listening/dancing to music, and doing crafts.
