About My Clients
Major life transitions can leave you feeling unsure of who you are or how to move forward. Decisions that once seemed black or white can become muddled. Constantly being reminded of the past may make it seem impossible to navigate your present. It might be unclear if you're on the brink of real change or caught in the same old patterns. It's easy to feel lost and alone if you don't have anyone who can really understand and empathize with your situation.
My Background and Approach
I offer you the opportunity to explore your full self. We'll work together in this process to acknowledge and accept parts of yourself that you've been told are shameful. Therapy will allow you to experiment with who you can be in a different kind of relationship. We'll identify healthy and effective ways to address old wounds and move on to new challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is guided by my own experience as a transgender woman. I also have over ten years of experience working with survivors of rape and domestic abuse. I have deep respect for the courage it takes to reach out for help and attempt to respond with an equal amount of compassion.
