My Background and Approach
Although trained across the mental health field, my areas of specialization and passion include addiction, trauma and identity formation and I use a blend of trauma-informed, strength-based, solution-focused, and holistic approaches. I aspire to support you in your journey toward personal growth. We'll work on expanding your self-awareness, amplifying your self-acceptance, setting healthier boundaries, & establishing healthier decision-making patterns in your life. It is my passion and privilege to do this work, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to the unique individual sitting across from me so that you experience the healing and growth that can happen from feeling safe, seen, heard, valued, and understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The therapeutic alliance between a therapist and their client is a sacred space based on trust and connection and I believe, has the power to change a “survivor” into a “thriver.” I welcome the opportunity to work together to explore the thoughts, core beliefs, and behaviors that might be keeping you feeling trapped and treading water and existing rather than in living fully.
