About My Clients

I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, unsure of their worth, or disconnected from themselves. Whether these struggles stem from unresolved trauma, grief, or long-held patterns, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself. In sessions, we’ll explore the root of these patterns and develop ways to help you feel more grounded, secure, and connected.

My Background and Approach

My education and practice of Internal Family Systems and a Person-Centered approach are the foundation for how I show up for clients. I focus on non-pathologizing how we show up and viewing each client as the whole person they are with a complex history, identify, and life experiences. My goal is to support you in getting to know your inner world and supporting you in that being a place that feels comfortable to be in. I am here to help you better understand yourself, your emotions, and how to allow them instead of push them away. I have seen over and over in myself and in clients, when we are able to turn towards and listen to our parts and emotions, we feel less and less overwhelmed by them. Authenticity is at the foundation of how I show up and can help you to find what that looks like for you, whether that is unmasking, setting boundaries, or feeling comfortable to connect with others.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has an inner knowing and wisdom within them, whether that is something that we have lost connection with or something we have never felt connected to. I see therapy as an opportunity for deep connection, where you are fully seen and understood as how you are. We often come into therapy with things we want to change about ourselves, and I deeply believe that all of the parts of us no matter how scary or ugly have place within us. When we lean in and understand the scary parts of ourselves, we understand that they are trying to help us survive and thrive, though at times they may need support to do that in a healthier way. As a late-diagnosed ADHD adult, I spent a lot of my life not knowing who I was and not feeling good enough. Through therapy, learning about ADHD, and understanding my parts through IFS; I feel grounded and comfortable in who I am and continually practice showing up authentically. If this is something that calls to you, feel free to reach out!
