About My Clients
I have a variety of experience working with children, including working as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapist at Community Services f Autistic Adults and Children (CSAAC) where I treated children and toddlers with autism. After CSAAC, I went on to complete my graduate internship at Jewish Social Services Agency (JSSA) where I worked with adults and children experiencing anxiety and depression. Ali utilized a person-centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) .
My Background and Approach
I regularly incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when working with clients. I have completed the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Foundational Training through the Linehan Institute as well as being a member of a comprehensive DBT team.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally believe that the therapeutic relationship is built on trust and honesty. I try aims to make my clients feel comfortable and heard through her patient and non-judgmental approach. I also strive to create an environment for her clients in which they feel safe, supported and successful.
