About My Clients

You just want to feel like yourself again. You’re weary and worn down, riddled with racing thoughts and self-doubt. You’re tired of carrying the weight of others' expectations or happiness. Maybe you’re starting to feel defeated and hopeless. You feel it in your body. You can no longer hide your hurt. Surrender the emotional weight you’ve been carrying for far too long. Come discover that there truly is lightness on the other side of whatever state you find yourself in right here, right now.

My Background and Approach

I believe that in order to achieve healing we have to address your whole being—mind, body, and spirit. So the therapeutic approaches I use —things like mindfulness practices, somatic interventions, transpersonal psychology—may be different from what you’ve experienced before. Reality is and science shows that feelings and sensations are not “all in your head”. So we’ll do more than explore what’s been whirling around in your mind. We’ll also reintegrate you back into your body to calm your nervous system and ease the intensity and tension you’ve been holding inside. Formally trained at Naropa University, I hold my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Counseling. I draw from body based approaches such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and Gestalt Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Issues of social justice are integral to my work as a psychotherapist. Why? Because first and foremost, I consider myself an advocate for my clients. And also? There’s no denying that our experiences are shaped through societal, cultural, and systemic contexts. I recognize the importance of addressing power and privilege in our therapeutic relationship, and I make it a priority to do so. I am passionate about supporting my clients in reclaiming their truest, most authentic selves and embodying their brilliance and gifts.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
