It bears repeating that trauma is the appropriate response to a toxic or dangerous situation. You are alive and your efforts were successful; in the moment you did the best you could with what you had. Traumatic symptoms such as reactivity, anxiety, depression, dissociation, avoidance, can linger and cause us continued pain as relationships, work, health, and self worth are negatively impacted. Healing is possible. You are not your trauma.

There is a realm of existence, non ordinary reality, beyond what can be perceived by the five senses. Different from religion and indoctrination, I hold spirituality as energy and divinity; a mystery which we all are a part of and all have access to. For many people the doorway to spirituality is a psychedelic or unexplainable experience, for others it is trauma. For still others it is longing. In this realm is infinite love and potential.

The EMDR treatment template is the general structure to my work. EMDR is a protocol to process though a traumatic event and rewrite the limiting belief. A traumatic experience is like a still photograph in the nervous system which is responded to as if it is happening right now. Reprocessing "pixelates" the image until it vanishes-freeing the nervous system and making space for spontaneity, creativity, connection, and ease.

Under the broad brush stoke of transpersonal therapy, my specific skill set is shamanic. Stubborn and amorphous symptoms such as "life not working," "not feeling like myself," or "something missing" can be remedied by partnering with the unseen world. Other categories of symptoms can be the opening of the sixth sense too fast, too much, too soon. Trauma and psychedelics can also be a doorway into the realm of non ordinary reality. I find that trauma and spiritual emergence often co-exist.
