About My Clients
I work with adults carrying the weight of childhood trauma, difficult family relationships, grief, anxiety, or painful life experiences. You may be the “strong one,” constantly caring for others while ignoring your own needs. Together, we’ll explore how your past impacts your present, identify unhealthy patterns, strengthen boundaries, and help you reconnect with yourself. You deserve a space where you can stop surviving and begin healing.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, difficult family relationships, and major life transitions. I have a special interest in helping clients understand how childhood experiences, emotionally immature parenting, and unhealthy relationship patterns can affect self-worth, boundaries, emotions, and relationships. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I incorporate CBT, solution-focused strategies, psychoeducation, and other evidence-based interventions based on your needs. Together, we will identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, develop healthier boundaries, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard while also being encouraged to grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to be honest about what we have experienced and how it has affected us. I value authenticity, compassion, accountability, and creating space for people to feel heard without judgment. I am especially passionate about helping people break unhealthy cycles and recognize patterns that may have been normalized within their families or relationships. Sometimes healing means setting boundaries without guilt, grieving what you needed but did not receive, learning to trust yourself again, or choosing a different path for yourself and future generations. I believe your past can help explain your patterns without having to determine your future. Therapy can be a place to understand your story, rediscover your voice, and intentionally create a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
