About My Clients

I specialize in working with couples, adults, and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Together, we can uncover patterns, build resilience, and develop strategies to help you achieve your personal goals and improve your overall well-being. I am experienced in addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, grief, cultural conflicts, family dynamics, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ identity

My Background and Approach

I hold an MS in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in children and adolescents from Azusa Pacific University and a BS in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University Fullerton. I am currently certified in Gottman Level I and Dr. Sue Johnson's Emotionally-Focused Therapy for couples in crisis. I foster a warm and collaborative environment. You can talk as much as you need, and I'm comfortable with silence. However, I also engage actively in our sessions and ensure you're never left unsupported. I highly believe the client is an expert at their experiences and therapy should be collaborative. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Alexus began her clinical experience at Pacific Lifeline where she worked with a diverse population dealing with substance use disorder, homelessness, trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal relationship violence, chronic illnesses, anxiety, and depression. She facilitated individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions teaching coping skills and providing psychoeducation. In addition to my clinical practice, I stay informed of the latest research and advancements in psychology through continuous education and professional development. My commitment is to provide the highest standard of care and to support you in your journey toward healing and growth. I understand that reaching out for help can be a difficult step, and I want you to know that I am here to support you with empathy and understanding. We will work together at your own pace, and I am honored to be part of your journey toward a healthier and more fulfilling life. Please feel free to reach out via email or phone.
