About My Clients
Maybe you are feeling anticipation and heartache in trying to conceive, struggling with anxious thoughts during pregnancy, experiencing profound grief and loss, navigating an evolving relationship with your partner, or feeling overwhelmed trying to "do it all" as a new parent. Maybe you are feeling lonely, struggling to bond, or wondering why you aren't enjoying this time as much as you expected. If you are planning for a family, trying to conceive, pregnant, or postpartum - I am here for you!
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed counseling psychologist with specialization in reproductive and perinatal mental health, which is a fancy way of saying that I have spent the last 10+ years of my career dedicated to supporting those who are in the family-building phase of life. I'm also a mom, which means I understand this work both professionally and personally. In addition to clinical work, I am actively engaged in maternal health research and teaching the next generation of psychologists. In the therapy room, my goal is to create a relaxed, warm space where you can show up as you are. I believe healing happens in the relationship - through being understood, learning to approach yourself with curiosity, finding room for humor and joy, and making space for change that actually fits your life. Therapy with me is both reflective and practical, as I try to help you understand yourself more deeply and build skills to navigate the challenging times in life.
